Catriona joined Williamson & Soden in 2005. She is head of the Private Client Department and specialises in all aspects of Wills, Tax Planning and Probate.
Catriona has extensive experience of advising clients in relation to the following matters:
- Inheritance tax planning wills
- Implementing and advising on inheritance tax saving discretionary trusts
- Lifetime tax planning opportunities
- Post death tax planning (including the preparation of Deeds of Variation)
- Administration of taxable and non-taxable estates
- Preparation of Enduring Powers of Attorney and applications to the Court of Protection.
