Ian's background is in conveyancing of all kinds, but in recent years he has tended to specialise in the Town and Country Planning aspects of conveyancing transactions, and Planning generally. He deals with Planning Appeals, sometimes working with specialist planning consultants, and is a Member of the Law Society's specialist Planning Panel, of which there are 133 members across the U.K.
Ian is also a Legal Associate of the Royal Town Planning Institute, and currently Managing Partner at Williamson & Soden.
